College of Education and Social Sciences

Strong foundations in education and the social sciences, preparing responsible, disciplined and successful citizens and teachers.

The College of Education and Social Sciences — formerly the Department of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences — was established in 2010 by the Board of Trustees of the Nimba County Community College (now Nimba University).

The College provides strong foundations in education, life-long learning and the social sciences, gives students real-world experiences, and enables them to be responsible, disciplined and successful citizens. Our highly qualified faculty train students in the knowledge, skills and leadership development necessary to succeed in their chosen career pathways.

Nimba University has also established the Siabara Early Childhood Development and Primary Center, which serves as a sub-program and demonstration center for our teacher aspirants.
