    The administration of Nimba University wishes to announce to all high school graduates and all other individuals desiring to obtain Bachelor’s and Associate degrees in the below listed areas or disciplines, that the second entrance and placement examinations will be administered on August 26, 2023, at the following centers:

    • Nimba University Auditorium, Sanniquellie City, Nimba County
    • J. W. Pearson High School Campus, Ganta City, Nimba County


    Programs for both Bachelor and AA Degrees

    1. Primary Education
    2. Secondary Education
    3. Mining Engineering
    4. Environmental Science
    5. Civil Engineering
    6. Economics
    7. Public Administration
    8. Management
    9. Geology
    10. Chemistry
    11. Biology
    12. General Agriculture
    13. Agronomy
    14. Accounting
    15. Public Health
    16. Early Childhood Education
    17. Electrical Engineering


    Associate Degree Programs
    1. Criminal Justice
    2. Forestry
    3. Natural Resource Management
    4. Information Technology

    The entrance for the TVET Program (Technical Vocational Education Training Program) will also be administered along with the University’s entrance as well at the above mentioned centers. All candidates desirous of enrollment in the Continual Education Program (that is the evening classes) are also encouraged to take advantage of the second entrance and placement examinations on August 26, 2023.
    Fees for the entrance:
    1. Regular Program --------------------- $2,500LRD
    2. TVET Program ----------------------- $1,500LRD
    Payment for the entrance and placement examinations can be made at the above institutions registrar’s offices with a genuine receipt obtained. All applicants writing the examinations on the main campus of the University can register in the Business and Finance Office on campus.
    Time for the entrance and other information expected of candidates writing the exams:
        • 8:30 A.M.--- all candidates are to be seated with needed materials for writing           the                 exam (pens and pencils, and calculators)
           • A genuine identification card of the candidate writing the examination.
          • No foreign material is needed in the examination hall such as cell phones and           all internet gadgets.

    * Note: The second entrance and placement examinations will not be including candidates who desire to enroll in the Nursing and Medical Laboratory Technology programs.
